Abstract

Bulk superconductivity with a transition temperature Tc = 0.6 K is reported for the intermetallic compound HfCuGe2. HfCuGe 2 is structurally related to the "1111" iron pnictide structure, which hosts a large number of Fe-based superconductors. It can therefore be viewed as a non-magnetic analog to the "1111"-type Fe-based superconductors. © Copyright EPLA, 2013.
