Abstract

The continuous tracking of tool positions and transport means is an important factor in terms of efficiency and tracking of safety relevant production steps. The research project NaLoSysPro investigates a novel solution for tracking the assembly tools for screws and nuts at a manual work station. The project targets miniaturization steps like 24 GHz RF chip-design and antenna module integration as well as novel positioning algorithms and individual worker guidance during assembly. A setup consisting of worker information system, work station and wireless positioning system will be realized during the project.
