Abstract

A supramolecular phthalocyanine-perylenediimide donor-acceptor array has been assembled by using a melamine/perylenediimide motif. Photoexcitation of the perylenediimide component affords transduction of singlet excited state energy to the energetically lower lying phthalocyanine. © 2010 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
