Lehrstuhl für Informatik 7 (Rechnernetze und Kommunikationssysteme)


Beschreibung:

Der Lehrstuhl beschäftigt sich mit allen Fragen rund um Protokolle und Architekturen zur Kommunikation in vernetzten Systemen. Eine besondere Ausrichtung liegt hierbei in der Bewertung der Dienstgüte (Quality-of-Service, QoS) zur Beurteilung der Leistungsfähigkeit, Zuverlässigkeit und Echtzeitfähigkeit von Systemen. Hierfür werden Verfahren zur Modellierung, zur Simulation, zur Analyse, zum Test und zur Messung eingesetzt sowie eigene Werkzeuge entwickelt und in folgenden Anwendungsgebieten eingesetzt: Fahrzeugkommunikation, vernetzte Energiesysteme (Smart Grid) sowie industrielle Kommunikation und Sensornetze.
