In our research on the behavioral endocrinology of implicit motives, we study the hormonal factors that influence the development and dispositional strength of the implicit nees for power, achievement, and affiliation. We also have a longstanding focus on the interactive effects of implicit motives and situational factors on hormonal changes and their feedback effects on cognition, learning, and behavior. The chair's own hormone lab specialized in radioimmunoassay assessment of the streroid hormones testosterone, estradiol, progesterone, and cortisol in saliva.
