This research area is dedicated to the analysis of interreligious discourses between the three related monotheistic religions Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The project KCID (www.kcid.fau.de) examines central, historically evolved concepts, with the aim of investigating the theoretical roots of the above mentioned religions, in order to elaborate on their common features and differences. Our aim is to strengthen peaceful coexistence of religious communities in plural societies.
