Description:



The research focus “Digitization and Innovation” is
dedicated to the systematic scientific exploration and analysis of digital
technologies in business and society. It produces a broad portfolio of
internationally visible scholarly papers and promotes a multitude of
different innovation activities in the region. Continuing a long tradition of
research at FAU’s School of Business, Economics and Society, current topics in
the research area include Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory, A.I. at the
Workplace, Service-Systems Engineering and the Digitization of Services, Open Innovation,
Business Process Management, Digital Marketing, IT-Security and Digital
Governance. A strong focus is set on collaborations with strategic partners
such as the Fraunhofer Institute IIS and many renowned industrial enterprises.
