Prof. Dr.-Ing. Walter Kellermann was elected 'Member at Large' in the 'Board of Governors' of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (http://www.signalprocessingsociety.org/about-sps/boards-committees/board-of-governors/) for the years 2013-2015. The Signal Processing Society is the oldest and largest of IEEE's 38 'Societies' with approximately 16,000 members. The IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is the world's largest technical association with more than 400,000 members in about 150 countries.
